Dinosaurs are extinct reptiles of the Mesozoic (mainly Jurassic period) era (which emerged around 250 million years ago). These animals  vanished from the  earth around 66 million years ago due to unknown reasons. More than 500 dinosaur species  have been discovered so far. According to  estimates, the total number of extinct species of dinosaurs could be 1,300 or more. ( Source ) The extinction event of dinosaurs is known as the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event. It also wiped out 75% of all the animals and plants  present on earth at that time. According to a theory, this extinction event likely happened because of an asteroid hitting the earth. Ancient Egypt is one of the six ancient civilizations collectively known as the  Cradle of Civilization .  The era of Ancient Egypt began around  3100 BC . The Egyptian-Hittite treaty of 1271 BC is the first known peace treaty in history. This peace agreement continued for 40 years until the fall of the Hittite Empire. World War 2 was the deadliest conflict in world history, which took the lives of around 75 million people worldwide. World War 2 was fought in the continents of Europe , Asia , and  Africa , and the oceans of the Pacific and Atlantic. The combatants were the Allies (UK, USA, France, USSR) and the Axis (Nazi Germany, Italy, Japan). The European front of World War 2 started on 1 st September 1939 with the German invasion of Poland. The formation of the Triple Entente (Russia, France , and Britain) in 1907 and the Triple Alliance (Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy) in 1882 laid the foundation of a global war (World War 1) that started in 1914.
